Major teenage friend problem, please help?

I'm sorry, I recently had the same problem where me and my best friends of 6 years got in a fight about something stupid and now we don't talk at all. I figured if a friendship is capable of ending its because it was never there. If I were you I would still be friends with her just not best friends, like you could talk to her sometimes or say hi when you walk by but don't become enemies. And about the having trouble making friends, I have never been good at making friends but when me and my best friend split up I made friends because people who didn't like her saw that I wasn't with her anymore so they came over to me and started talking and now I am close friends with them. This is an unfortunate situation but you will get through it just like I did. Hope I helped good luck (:
