Do you know what to do about idle lands (aka non-performing assets)?

My mother and father decided to buy a piece of land in Rodqiguez, Rizal some ten years ago. The land is situated on the side of the mountains. The slope is like 35 degrees therefore it's very difficult to go there every now and then. The good news is we have a caretaker and he takes good care of the property. The land brings us some goods like tubers (camote, ube, and gabi), and some tropical fruits (papaya, langka, avocado and pia). But my parents have come to a decision to sell the piece of land in exchange for money so that may father could a start a piggery business in Bicol. The major problem is nobody wants to buy the land even at a cheaper price. What do you think is the best solution for this? Please be reminded that they don't intend to make a plantation out of it since plants don't grow very well in that area.
