Ok a lot of people are getting mad at "religous" based groups.. can you give me examples as to why?

i am a catholic and keep hearing people bashing the faith i want to hear your story of personnel attack or subjugation and torture that has made you resistant to looking into the faith yourself....im not talking about rape from a priest we all know that is a horrific and evil thing for them to do and personally i think they should be hung from there b*lls
